- An Overview of Equine Genetics with Christa Lafayette, Founder of Etalon Diagnostics, USA – Christa and her team have made several amazing discoveries in the equine genetics field, most recently looking at the genetic basis for kissing spines. She shared some of these discoveries, gave an overview on where we are at in equine genetics and discussed what the future holds for genetic testing in horses.
- A Fresh Look at Equine Gastric Ulcer Syndrome & Update on Treatments with Pinkham Equine Vet Nat Hind – This talk discussed the risk factors for EGUS in your horses, summarised current research and discussed new and commonly used treatment options for the condition.
