Whether exporting horses for competition, sales or breeding purposes, dependent on the destination, the pre-export requirements can vary significantly. It is therefore important to plan in advance and to have an understanding of exactly what will be required for horse export so that process is as smooth as possible.

Several of our vets are registered Official Veterinarians (OV) with the correct modules for export of equids internationally. We have significant experience in running export quarantines, and as such, can assist you through the entire process.

If you are considering exporting a horse or pony, please give us a call and we’ll be happy to help advise on the requirements and point you in the direction of the various authorities that you’ll need to contact.
